Snail racing is still a popular event in Norfolk, and it was soon to become the home of the first ever ‘Iron Snail’, a long distance, endurance competition. The snails have to travel an astounding 100 meters over just five days. The event draws ten’s of people from every corner of Congham, a small village outside of King’s lynn.
