Nina Bunjevac
Nina Bunjevac is a Toronto based cartoonist and illustrator. Her art education started in former Yugoslavia and then continued at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada. Formerly a painter and a sculptor, Nina eventually turned to comics as the medium of preference. Her comic strips have been published in a variety of international magazines and anthologies, such as Komikaze (Croatia), Black (Italy), Le Dernier Cri (France), Giuda (Italy), Exile Literary Quarterly (Canada), Taddle Creek (Canada), Stripolis (Serbia), Mineshaft (USA) and ArtReview (UK). Her collection of comics Heartless came out in September of 2012 with the Canadian publisher Conundrum Press.
